Many Outings!

This is probably going to be the longest post on the blog.  I'm trying to get a bunch of pictures, realizing that when I go back to work there will be much less time for picture taking and blog/scrapbook writing.

Bryn had a week full of meeting more friends and getting to go out of the house.  We were so excited that she got to meet Carey, BJ and Charlie Supple and that we got to spend some good time catching up.  We really appreciated them driving down from Des Moines!  Charlie was so sweet with Bryn, not that we were surprised.

We took a short road trip on Sunday with Alli and Mark to Louisburg to the Cider Mill.  Bryn got to experience her stroller for the first time.  She slept the entire time, so I guess she liked it.

Bryn traveled to Coffeyville and hung out Monday through Thursday with Grammy and Grandpa Bell.  Nick had potential donors to meet with in Southeast Kansas and Oklahoma.  We missed Tegan and Miller, but it was so hard to leave.

We got to hang out outside for awhile before it got windy.

Monday afternoon, we went to Grandpa's office and then met Tara and Alan!

We went to Tulsa Tuesday night and got to meet Jana and the Powells.  She did great with her first restaurant experience and slept the entire time.

She also got to meet George and Geraldine Cantrell and Sonya and James Cantrell.  She got her very first diamond ring from Sonya and James.  What a special keepsake.

Bryn has really started smiling big in response to us.  It has been so much fun!  Fitting that Grammy Bell got the first good picture of her smile in her "a siamese cat is my best friend" onesie that we used to announce to my parents that we were pregnant.

Bryn and Gizmo testing to see if the message on the onesie is true.  I think Giz could have done without this test.

Kirby did great with her.  Gave her a big sniff in the ear and tried to sit on us.

Miller hung out with her too during the week.  Didn't want anyone to think he has been neglected.  Tegan is still scared of the camera--the new video camera too it turns out.

Just a couple quick notes in terms of Bryn's development.  She will fall asleep in her crib during the day while listening to her mobile or reading her books and she has started to grasp our fingers tightly. Pretty cute.

I have no idea what she could possibly be so concerned about, but at least 50% of the time, Bryn has this look across her face.  I have heard recently this is a Sterner trait.  I think it is also possible she is trying to figure out what the heck the camera is and why it is always in her face.

5 weeks old in her Halloween Onesie and Tutu!
