The number of pictures I had to edit and sort through for the Christmas blog was so daunting, it caused some delay in my posts. It has been fun to go back and see how much Claire has changed since then!
December was a lot of fun filled with wonderful family traditions. Claire and Bryn have many many more of these to celebrate together and it was great to watch them interact in such a special time of the year.
Bryn has changed a ton and is having a lot of fun learning letters and drawing. She likes to hang out with her neighbors and of course, Addilyn and Ella from school. Here is Bryn's attempt to spell all of her friend's names. I spelled them out for her and she wrote them down on her own!
Claire and Bryn had a great Holiday Program at school. Claire didn't cry on stage. Bryn is officially our rule follower. While her two closest friends escaped to the back of the stage to play in a prop, Bryn nervously looked back and then proceeded to sing very dramatically in the front row "because that's what her teachers wanted her to do." Oh, Bryn, so much like your parents. We are confident that your sister will break the rules for all of us.

We got to visit Santa at the North Pole through Oak Park Mall, compliments of Joyce and Rod. The girls loved it and had a lot of fun with Mi Mi and Grammy!
School Fun
Christmas in Coffeyville! Kiya got a sleeping bag that matches Bryn's and Claire got to try her sleeping bag out too! Claire tried to let Kiya and Bryn try to watch Lion King. It wasn't easy.

Christmas morning! Bryn got a new American Girl doll (see previous "Caroline" post). Her name is now Rosie! Claire got an American Girl baby and toys that are suspiciously similar looking to ones that Bryn used to have.
