Christmas Program 2013 (2) from Catherine Bell on Vimeo.
Santa brought her a beanie bear that has since been called "Christmas Bear." Any time was asked her what Santa was bringing, she said "Christmas Bear." She now sleeps with Christmas Bear and asks where it is. Thanks daycare, for taking care of everything she'd ever want this year!
We started a tradition of giving Bryn Christmas jammies at the beginning of December. She loved them, but they were so big that she will probably be able to wear them next year.
Bryn met Emerson Goodin! Emerson is so very sweet and they had a great time together.

One other pre-Christmas event included going to visit Santa. The parents selfishly decided that going to the local hunting/sporting goods big-box store would be the fastest Santa line. While true, it is NOT worth it. Other than Ms. Kiliper, I am just about the last person who appreciates dead stuffed animals, especially exotic ones. Parenting fail. Bryn also would not go to Santa without us. I would have found that really sweet and worth adding to the facebook montage of crying babies with Santa had I not been focusing on how exactly the dead elephants from Africa got to a tacky Big Box store in KCK.
On a positive note, Bryn had a great time with Mi Mi and Aunt Joyce and she got to try her first candy cane. We will do a traditional mall setting next year.
